Unexpected

These past few weeks, I did something I would never expect doing a few months ago.

1. After not using my glasses for almost three years, I finally wore them for two days straight. Good thing the store adjusted the frames for free. Totoo pala yung claim nilang they adjust the frames 'til kingdom come if it's from them. I stopped wearing my glasses after two days because I really find them uncomfortable. I sweat and yawn a lot. Basta ang hirap. My remaining threshold before I start wearing glasses is that I can still read newspapers.

2. I don't remember paying to watch any local movies in 2010. But for 2011, I was able to watch 2! No Other Woman and Praybeyt Benjamin. No Other Woman is okay. The script is provocative. But yes I agree its characters were stereotyped to a fault. Then again, stereotypes are there for a reason. Praybeyt Benjamin for me is corny. I would never bother to watch that shit if it weren't for my office colleagues. Oh well. That's 160 pesos down the drain.

maybe you should try contact lenses.

I thought the most ludicrous movie I ever saw ( DVD actually) this year was Petrang Kabayo :( I could only last for 15 mins.
